What Pillar does
The whole list, from her records
Over Carequality and TEFCA, Pillar requests your parent's records, then lists every medicine they mention. Pharmacy fills appear when the records contain them, along with who prescribed each one where the records say.
Why she takes each one
A plain-language reading of her records shows why a medicine was started, when that's written down. Kidney function, blood sugar and her other labs become trends, each with a short explanation.
Good questions for her pharmacist
Ask whether two medicines might interact, and the chat answers from her records. A second check looks the answer over against the evidence, and you take what you learn to her pharmacist or doctor.
Siblings on the same list
Invite a sibling or her doctor, and choose who can see her profile and who can help manage it. Set reminders for yourself in plain words, like refilling the organizer every Sunday at 7.
What makes Pillar different
Her list, straight from her records
A handwritten list or a folder of pharmacy printouts holds whatever someone remembered to write down. Pillar builds the list from her medical records, including pharmacy fills when they're there.
Every prescriber in one place
A single hospital's portal shows the medicines that hospital has on file. Pillar brings in records from many hospitals and practices, so the cardiologist's prescription can sit beside the primary care doctor's.
Answers about her medicines, from her history
Without her records, ChatGPT, Claude and assistants like them know her medicines only if you type them in. Pillar's chat answers with her medicines and lab results in view.
Ask your own assistant about her pills
Siblings who manage her profile can each connect a Claude or ChatGPT of their own and pick what it sees. With write access it can update her medication list, such as adding the vitamin D she takes each morning.
Cancel any month
After its 7-day free trial (a card is needed to start), Pillar is $9 a month. Triangle's money comes from members, not from any drug maker, laboratory or hospital.

The team behind Pillar
Behind Pillar's pill-by-pill list is Triangle (Triangle Health, Inc.), which calls Pasadena, California, home. In 2023 Arun Verma learned he had a brain tumor; Triangle followed, co-founded by Arun as CEO with Jonathan Grubb and with Justin Balthrop, one of Bird's co-founders. What he once researched by hand, Triangle offers as a service anyone can use, and that includes families sorting out a parent's medicines.

Frequently asked questions
What does Pillar do for Mom's medicines, and who makes it?
Pillar gathers a parent's medicines from her records into one clear list the family can share. Triangle is the company that makes it, and sign-up happens on Triangle's site, trianglehealth.com.
What does it cost to keep Mom's list in Pillar?
Pillar's 7-day free trial needs a card at sign-up. Once it ends you pay $9 a month and can cancel any time; stop inside those 7 days and there's no charge.
Is Pillar a doctor or a pharmacist?
No. Pillar offers families research and educational support, made by Triangle; it won't diagnose, treat or prescribe, or tell you to start or stop a medicine. Her doctor and pharmacist make those calls.
Can ChatGPT, Claude or Grok read Mom's medicine list?
Yes, once someone on her profile's team adds https://app.trianglehealth.com/mcp to their assistant as Pillar's MCP connector and chooses what it may read. Setup steps for each assistant are written up at trianglehealth.com/agents.
Who can see Mom's medicines, and is the data protected?
Triangle is HIPAA compliant, and Pillar's copy of her medicine list and records is encrypted in transit and at rest. Triangle doesn't sell any of it or share it for advertising, and only the relatives and doctors you invite can see her profile.
Will her list be complete?
Pillar lists every medicine in her records, including pharmacy fills when they're included. Not every practice can be reached through the national networks, so upload discharge papers or a printed list from her pharmacy to fill the gaps.
What about pills she buys over the counter?
Over-the-counter medicines and supplements are often missing from records. Tell the chat what she takes, and it can add them to her list.
Will Pillar remind Mom to take her pills, or tell me if she misses one?
No. Pillar doesn't watch her doses or send alerts about her. Reminders are for you, like refilling the organizer on Sundays, and they arrive in the app and by notification.
